Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe reportedly has no intention of announcing a decision on his future until the end of the season.
With just over two months remaining on his contract, Real Madrid will be naturally encouraged that they are the frontrunners to sign Mbappe on a free transfer.
However, it was recently claimed that the World Cup winner's representatives had flown to Qatar to hold discussions with PSG's owners regarding a fresh deal.
Nevertheless, according to Marca, Mbappe will not make any announcement about the next phase of his career until PSG have completed their domestic campaign on May 21.
That call has been made despite their remaining four fixtures effectively becoming dead-rubbers with the Ligue 1 title having been won over the weekend.
The report adds that Real Madrid "remain calm" about the situation, content that the saga should not distract from their efforts to overcome Manchester City in the Champions League semi-finals.
