Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has reportedly urged Los Blancos head coach Zinedine Zidane to change his stance on Welsh attacker Gareth Bale.
Bale is not said to be in the plans of Zidane for the 2019-20 campaign, despite the fact that the Wales international has travelled with the club on their pre-season tour of the United States.
According to The Independent, the fact that Madrid have not received any offers for the 30-year-old has led to Perez urging Zidane to bring the attacker back into the fold.
The report claims that neither Los Blancos nor Bale are prepared to drop their financial demands over a potential summer exit, making it difficult for the former Southampton youngster to leave the Bernabeu this summer.
Bale, who has a contract at the Bernabeu until June 2022, only managed eight La Liga goals during a disappointing 2018-19 campaign.
The Welshman has scored over 100 goals for the Spanish giants, though, and is said to be valued in the region of £72m.
