Paris Saint-Germain have made one final attempt to persuade forward Kylian Mbappe to extend his contract at the Parc des Princes this summer, according to a report.
The 23-year-old has just six weeks remaining on his contract with the Parisian outfit and the Frenchman is believed to be edging closer towards a move to Real Madrid.
Mbappe has been strongly linked with a switch to the Santiago Bernabeu and one report claims that he has already agreed to sign a five-year contract with the Spanish giants.
However, El Chiringuito TV, via the Daily Mail, claims that PSG are desperate to keep hold of Mbappe and they are prepared to make the forward 'the owner of the project', which would permit him to dictate whether a change of manager is required and what transfers are made by the club going forward.
The report adds that PSG are also prepared to offer Mbappe a staggering £4m-a-month salary, which is double what he is currently earning, on top of additional bonuses.
Mbappe, who was named the 2021-22 Ligue 1 Player of the Year earlier this month, has spent the last four years a PSG, recording 168 goals and 87 assists in 216 appearances across all competitions. body check tags ::
