Real Madrid and Barcelona are both reportedly interested in Napoli midfielder Elif Elmas.

The 20-year-old made 47 appearances for Fenerbahce over the course of two years before completing a move to Napoli ahead of the 2019-20 campaign.

Elmas has featured on seven occasions for the Italian giants in the early stages of the season, including outings in both of their Champions League group games against Liverpool and Genk.

According to Calciomercato, both Madrid and Barca are keeping a close eye on the youngster's development, while Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be admirers of his talents.

The central midfielder, who has been capped on 15 occasions by North Macedonia, turned out against Barca during Napoli's preparations for the current season.

Elmas could be viewed as a potential replacement for Luka Modric at the Bernabeu, meanwhile, amid suggestions that Los Blancos are prepared to sell the Croatia international.
