Real Madrid and Barcelona will reportedly go head to head for Japanese teenager Takefusa Kubo in this summer's transfer window.
Kubo has previously represented Barca, joining the club in 2011 after passing a trial with the Spanish giants.
The attacker actually spent almost four years with the Catalan outfit, but the club were later sanctioned by FIFA for signing underage players and Kubo returned to Japan to join FC Tokyo.
The now 17-year-old has featured on seven occasions for FC Tokyo this season, but it is widely thought that he will seek a return to Europe in this summer's transfer window.
According to Marca, Barca are 'working on his return', but they will face stiff competition from Madrid, who have already approached the player's agent over a switch to the Bernabeu.
Kubo - also said to be interesting Paris Saint-Germain - has made four appearances for Japan's Under-20 side.
