Real Madrid have reportedly not changed their stance on January transfers despite Karim Benzema being ruled out of the World Cup with a thigh injury.
Carlo Ancelotti claimed weeks ago that the European champions were not looking to make any additions in the January transfer window.
However, after Benzema was forced to withdraw from France's World Cup squad, there was a belief that Los Blancos could consider signing a new striker.
According to Marca, Real Madrid maintain that they will not sign any new players in January despite the fact that Benzema has struggled for fitness this term.
The 34-year-old has missed nine games for Real Madrid this season due to injury and muscular fatigue, but Los Blancos adapted in his absence, utilising the likes of Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo Goes and Federico Valverde in the forward line.
Although Benzema's recent injury issues have affected his playing time, Real Madrid are said to have no doubts about his immediate future. body check tags ::
