Real Madrid have reportedly been quoted £44m if they wish to sign Rennes' teenager superstar Eduardo Camavinga.
The 18-year-old is widely regarded as one of Europe's most exciting young talents and has already earned three international caps for the French national team.
Camavinga's agent Jonathan Barnett, who also represents Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale, has hailed Los Blancos as a "great club" that would be interested in his client, who he believes can become the "best midfielder in the world".
"At the moment, he's a Rennes player. He likes Rennes and, at the moment, we haven't really taken to other clubs. It isn't our position," Barnett told Goal.
"Let's see what happens later on, but he's doing well in Rennes and that's fine. Being the best midfielder in the world, that's how I see his future, [with] a lot of medals and a lot of trophies.
"Eduardo would love to play for a top club. [Real Madrid are] a great club, a great club to play for. Eduardo will have a choice of a lot of clubs if Rennes decides to release him. They will be one of the four of five clubs in the world he might go to. Madrid are one of those top clubs in the world, so are Barcelona."
Since making his debut as a 16-year-old in August 2019, Camavinga has played 69 times for Rennes, including 26 appearances in all competitions this campaign.
