Real Madrid are reportedly considering recalling James Rodriguez from his loan spell at Bayern Munich.
Last summer, Real allowed Rodriguez to pen a two-year deal with Bayern, and the Colombia international scored eight goals in 30 starts and nine substitute outings in all competitions.
However, Rodriguez is said to be keen on returning to the Bernabeu after the departure of Zinedine Zidane, and according to Marca, Real are considering their options.
The report suggests that Bayern want to keep the 27-year-old in Germany and remain interested in sealing a permanent switch in the future, but it appears that the player's loan spell may be cut short midway through the deal.
Rodriguez still has three years remaining on his contract with the European champions.
