Real Madrid have apparently agreed to sign Paris Saint-Germain's Ethan Mbappe as part of the deal which will see his older brother Kylian Mbappe move to the Spanish capital.

Following several previous failed attempts to prise Kylian Mbappe away from the Parc des Princes, Real Madrid are understood to have finally shaken hands on an agreement with the 25-year-old.

After informing PSG that he would be leaving the club as a free agent at the end of the season, the French World Cup winner reportedly agreed to take a mammoth pay cut to sign a five-year deal with Carlo Ancelotti's side.

Neither PSG nor Real Madrid have made an official comment, but after taking Kylian Mbappe off midway through the second half of their 1-1 draw with Rennes last weekend, Parisiens boss Luis Enrique said that his team must get used to playing without the attacker.

Over the past few months, Ethan Mbappe has often joined his sibling in PSG's matchday squads, and according to OKDIARIO, the 17-year-old will follow Les Parisiens' all-time leading scorer to the Bernabeu.

Like his brother, the teenage midfielder is also out of contract at the end of June and is therefore set to join Real Madrid on a free transfer after a request from his family.

The Mbappe entourage reportedly asked for Ethan Mbappe to join the club after Kylian Mbappe had already penned his pre-contract agreement, and Real Madrid accepted their request after thinking it over.

The 2006-born lynchpin is expected to join Real Madrid's Castilla team before making the step-up to senior football, although he would be invited to train with Ancelotti's first team as well.

Ethan Mbappe's imminent switch to Real Madrid will bring an end to his seven-year stint with PSG, whom he signed for alongside his brother in 2017 after previously turning out for AS Bondy.

The midfielder was handed his first-team debut for the Ligue 1 champions in a 3-1 Ligue 1 victory over Metz in December, since when he has also come off the bench in Coupe de France victories over Revel and Orleans.

Ethan Mbappe also enjoyed his first taste of a Champions League matchday experience earlier this month, making the bench for PSG's 2-0 win over Real Sociedad in the first leg of their last-16 tie.

As well as his fleeting senior appearances, the teenager has established a reputation as a prolific midfielder at youth level, coming up with five goals and four assists in 16 matches during the Under-19 Championnat National campaign.

Ethan Mbappe also played the full 90 in all six of PSG's UEFA Youth League group-stage matches earlier this season, although the capital outfit finished last in their continental section.

PSG have supposedly been trying to agree a new deal with the 2006-born starlet, but negotiations to extend his stay have now ended due to Real Madrid's intervention. body check tags ::
