Real Madrid could reportedly move for Inter Milan forward Romelu Lukaku as the Spanish giants eye a replacement for Karim Benzema.
Lukaku has enjoyed an excellent 2019-20 campaign for Inter, scoring 33 times in 50 appearances in all competitions after arriving from Manchester United last summer.
According to Le 10 Sport, the Belgium international's impressive season has caught the attention of Madrid, who are preparing for life after Benzema.
The report claims that Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappe and Borussia Dortmund's Erling Braut Haaland are ahead of Lukaku in the pecking order, but Los Blancos could move for the Belgian if they are unable to sign either of their top targets as a replacement for their current number one striker.
Benzema scored 27 goals and registered 11 assists during another impressive season for Madrid, but the Frenchman will be 33 later this year and his contract is due to expire in June 2022.
Lukaku has helped Inter reach this season's Europa League final by scoring six times in five appearances in the competition, including a brace against Shakhtar Donetsk in the semi-finals on Monday night.
