Real Madrid are reportedly eyeing a move for RB Leipzig playmaker Dani Olmo as a possible replacement for Lucas Vazquez.
Vazquez is running down the final few months of his contract at the Bernabeu, and having reportedly rejected Madrid's offer of a new deal, he is expected to say his goodbyes in the summer.
As a result, El Chiringuito claims that Zinedine Zidane has identified Olmo - who only moved to Leipzig in January 2020 - as an ideal replacement for his departing compatriot.
The report claims that Olmo is desperate to ply his trade in his native Spain again in the near future, and a return to Barcelona has also been mooted for the former La Masia starlet.
Furthermore, Real Madrid are believed to enjoy a good relationship with the 22-year-old's agent Juanma Lopez, and with Olmo contracted to Leipzig until 2024, it could take a fee of €30m (£26.3m) to prise him away from Julian Nagelsmann's side.
Olmo has registered three goals and eight assists from 29 appearances in all competitions this term - starting 16 of Leipzig's 20 Bundesliga matches as they lie second in the table.
