Barcelona legend Rivaldo has insisted that it is just a matter of time before Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe joins Real Madrid.
Mbappe is believed to be a prime target for Zinedine Zidane at Madrid after netting a further 30 goals in all competitions this term.
Los Blancos have reportedly accepted that they will not be able to fund a bid for the France international until 2021 at the earliest, though, due to the coronavirus pandemic.
However, Rivaldo is certain that Mbappe will make the switch to Madrid one day, telling BetFair: "Of course, the French attacker would be a good signing for them and would be a big boost for the club.
"PSG won't let him go that easily or for a low price, but football is a commerce and the player doesn't want to stay much longer in French football, so I think sooner or later he would make his move to Spain.
"With all his talent and as a world champion for France, he would want to take a step forward in his career and play in one of the best leagues in the world.
"PSG are currently a Champions League contender, but the player will look for a bigger domestic challenge in La Liga or the Premier League."
Meanwhile, former Barca star Rivaldo has cast doubt on rumours that Lionel Messi could be on his way to Inter Milan.
