Real Madrid attacker James Rodriguez has reportedly emerged as a potential target for city rivals Atletico Madrid.
Rodriguez has just returned to the Bernabeu after a two-season loan spell at Bayern Munich, which concluded with neither party wishing to complete a permanent deal.
The Colombia international is now available to leave Los Blancos, a situation which has alerted Napoli, who are managed by former Real boss Carlo Ancelotti.
However, Gol Caracol are claiming that Atletico are contemplating an approach for the playmaker, despite having already broken their club-record to sign Joao Felix.
The report suggests that Rodriguez, who has two years left on his contract, is open to signing for the La Liga runners-up.
Rodriguez contributed 14 goals from 43 appearances in the Bundesliga during his time at Bayern.
