Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly ruled out a move away from the Bernabeu this summer.
There have been doubts over the Portugal captain's future in Spain over the course of the season following his claims last year that he was "sad" at the club.
Despite rumours of a possible move to Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint-Germain and speculation that Ronaldo's former club Manchester United were keen to make a deal, Spanish journalist Guillem Balague has claimed that the 28-year-old is staying put.
"Despite rumours, counter rumours, speculation, gossip and general tittle-tattle, just as I said from the start Cristiano Ronaldo, - while not signing yet a new contract past the one in place until 2015 - will be staying at Real Madrid," Balague wrote on his Sulia page.
While Ronaldo could still be a Madrid player next season, it is unlikely that manager Jose Mourinho will be alongside him after the Portuguese coach dropped the biggest hint yet that he will leave at the end of the campaign.
