Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly requested that Juventus make an approach for Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema.
Within 24 hours of being eliminated at the last-16 stage of the Champions League, Juventus opted to replace head coach Maurizio Sarri with Andrea Pirlo.
However, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, Ronaldo wants club officials to make a significant change with regards to their attack.
The Portuguese superstar allegedly wants to be reacquainted with former Real Madrid teammate Karim Benzema, who has just enjoyed one of his best-ever campaigns with Los Blancos.
Ronaldo feels that the Frenchman could prove to be the difference when it comes to ending the club's 25-year wait to win European football's premier competition.
Unless the 32-year-old requests a transfer, Real are unlikely to have little interest in parting ways with the legendary frontman.
