Cristiano Ronaldo is allegedly keen to see Gareth Bale replaced by Goncalo Guedes at Real Madrid at the end of the season.
Bale's future at the Bernabeu has been subject of intense speculation over the past few months, with recent reports suggesting that the Welshman has been given the green light to depart next summer, despite being under contract until 2022.
According to Diario Gol, Bale is "not a popular figure in the dressing room" in Madrid, leading Ronaldo to "hatch a plan" to bring in his Portugal teammate Guedes as a replacement.
Guedes, 20, joined Paris Saint-Germain in January and has impressed out on loan at Valencia this season, with his three goals in seven games helping Los Che up to an impressive second place in La Liga.
The publication says that Guedes and Ronaldo have the same agent, the highly-influential Jorge Mendes, and it is thought that he would be instrumental in getting any deal for a switch done.
Bale, meanwhile, is currently on the sidelines with a calf injury but is thought to be of interest to Manchester United.
