Real Madrid icon Ronaldo has admitted that he has asked the club's president Florentino Perez to loan Vinicius Junior to Real Valladolid.
Ronaldo, who scored 97 goals in 164 appearances for Madrid between 2002 and 2007, is now a majority owner of Valladolid after buying a 51% stake in the La Liga side in September.
The 42-year-old is keen to use his contacts to his advantage, but he is unsure whether the Pucelanos have the funds to bring in a player of Vinicius's quality.
"I've asked Florentino Perez if we can have him, but I think it might be difficult!" he told Europa Press. "We do not have the money for a permanent deal, but of course I would like to see Vinicius in Valladolid."
Vinicius is in his first season with Madrid's senior side and has been used eight times in all competitions.
