Zinedine Zidane has hinted that Real Madrid are interested in re-signing Cristiano Ronaldo from Juventus this summer.
The Portugal international won 15 trophies during his nine years at the Bernabeu, including an unprecedented three Champions League titles in a row.
Ronaldo joined Juve in a £100m deal three years ago and has scored 95 goals during his 121 appearances for the Italian giants.
However, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner's future has been the subject of much debate following the Bianconeri's shock Champions League last-16 exit to Porto last week.
On the back of their third early European departure in succession since Ronaldo arrived, reports emerged that Juve will look to cash in on the 36-year-old at the end of the season.
That would mean a reunion between Zidane and Ronaldo in the Spanish capital, and the Madrid head coach has indicated that a transfer is a possibility.
"Yes, it may be [true]," he told Sky Sport Italia. "We know Cristiano, we know the person he is and everything he has done here.
"But now he's a Juventus player and we must respect this. Now, let's see what the future will be.
"I was lucky enough to coach him and he is very impressive. Right now, he's helping Juventus."
Speaking last week, Juventus managing director Fabio Paratici insisted the club have no plans to sell Ronaldo before his contract expires next year. body check tags ::
