Real Sociedad boss David Moyes has admitted La Liga is more important to the club than the Copa del Rey this season.

Sociedad face Segunda B side Real Oviedo in the second leg of their last-32 Copa del Rey clash on Wednesday, with the scores level from the first leg.

Moyes has said that the cup is "very important" to the Basque outfit, but has claimed that a strong La Liga season is the club's priority.

"It's very important to remain in the cup but La Liga is the competition we are really focused on," Moyes told reporters.

"I'd love to win the Copa del Rey and we'll do all we can, but our focus remains the league."

Moyes has won one, drawn two and lost one of his four league games in charge of Sociedad.
