Real Sociedad boss David Moyes has revealed his 'disappointment' after his team's poor start to the new La Liga season continued against Espanyol on Saturday.
The Basque outfit came from 2-1 behind to equalise in the 87th minute at the Anoeta, but lost to a Hernan Perez strike in injury time.
Sociedad had to play the entirety of the second half with 10 men following a first-half red for goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli and Moyes has admitted that it was "difficult" to compete with a player less.
"I'm disappointed with the outcome of the match. It wasn't a good night, we deserved the draw and worked very hard with 10 men for the equaliser, but we lost in the last minute," Moyes told reporters.
"We started the game very well, pressing well, with determination. I think we had chances to score more goals in the first half, but the match changed after the red card.
"I don't think we defended well. We defended like we did against Real Betis, but it's more difficult with 10 men on the pitch in the second half."
Sociedad have lost two and drawn two of four league games this season.
