Rennes general manager Pierre Dreossi has said that he expects Yann M'Vila to leave the club imminently.
The 22-year-old has been strongly linked with a move away from Les Rouges et Noirs, with Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Queens Park Rangers all believed to be interested.
M'Vila, who is currently serving an international ban for breaking curfew while on Under-21 duty, has previously hinted that his future lies elsewhere.
Drossi confirmed that the midfielder wants to leave the club, but stated that the deal must be right for Rennes.
"It's possible [he'll leave] if we get some interesting offers," the club's Dreossi told French radio station RMC. "He wants to leave, but if it doesn't happen, it will be next summer.
"It's no catastrophe. He missed out on a transfer last summer. If there's an interesting opportunity for everyone, we'll find a solution."
M'Vila came through the youth ranks with the Brittany-based outfit.
