Aston Villa goalkeeper Shay Given has pleaded for Euro 2012 success with the Republic of Ireland after stating that he is running out of chances.
The 35-year-old, who spent a frustrating season on the bench at Manchester City before moving to Aston Villa, hopes that his national side can secure wins against Andorra and Armenia this week.
"You can call us senior or getting old or whatever, but we know we haven't got many years left to qualify, so hopefully this will be our time," the Daily Star quotes Given as saying.
"It's too early to say when my last one is, but I know there are not many left, to be honest, so hopefully we can do it this time."
The Republic of Ireland take on opponents Andorra for the Euro 2012 qualifier tomorrow (Friday).
