Republic of Ireland assistant manager Roy Keane has called on his players to be "streetwise" against Italy in their final Euro 2016 Group E game.
The Boys in Green head to Lille propping up the group but a win against the Azzurri - who are already certain to advance to the last 16 as group winners - may be enough to take them through.
Keane told BBC Sport: "We're not here to make friends - the fans are doing that. You have got to be streetwise in this game.
"If you think, 'We're in trouble here', then yes, you do whatever you can to get the right result and if that's fouling, then you foul.
"It's not a crime. You might get a yellow card - you might even get a red - but your team might win."
Martin O'Neill's charges take on the Euro 2012 finalists at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy on Tuesday, June 22.
