Robbie Keane has been dropped to the bench for the Republic of Ireland's Euro 2016 qualifier against Germany at the Aviva Stadium.
The Los Angeles Galaxy captain, who found himself on the receiving end of a jibe from assistant manager Roy Keane over his availability following the recent birth of his child, is replaced in attack by Daryl Murphy.
It is one of four changes for the Boys in Green as Cyrus Christie, Stephen Ward and Richard Keogh also come into Martin O'Neill's starting XI in place of Seamus Coleman, Ciaran Clark and Glenn Whelan.
Meanwhile the world champions make two changes, as Premier League duo Bastian Schweinsteiger and Emre Can drop out of Joachim Low's starting lineup, their slots taken by Matthias Ginter and Marco Reus.
Republic of Ireland: Given, Christie, Keogh, O'Shea, Ward, McCarthy, Hendrick, Walters, Hoolahan, Brady, Murphy
Germany: Neuer, Ginter, Boateng, Hummels, Hector, Ozil, Kroos, Gundogan, Reus, Gotze, Muller
