Republic of Ireland goalkeeper Shay Given has said that he is fit for his country's Euro 2012 playoff against Estonia on Friday.
The Aston Villa shotstopper had missed training on Tuesday with a neck injury.
"I felt [the neck injury] on Friday in training and I had painkillers for the game on Saturday and it just sort of progressively got a little bit worse, but I am feeling a little bit better today so I will be alright," said Given.
"It was just precautionary as they did not want me to do too much to make it worse, but it wouldn't stop me from playing even at it's worst."
The last time Ireland participated at a major tournament was at the 2002 World Cup.
