Republic of Ireland international Richard Dunne has denied that he will quit the game following a frustrating year of injury problems.
The 33-year-old missed the entire Premier League season for Aston Villa with a series of groin and hip problems and will become a free agent in the summer.
Dunne told reporters: "I am not finished. No way. I have had a miserable year but I am back now. And that's the end of the matter. It isn't the end for me – far from it."
Dunne made 118 appearances for Villa after joining them in September 2009 from Manchester City.
