Joey O'Brien has been ruled out of the Republic of Ireland's international friendly with Poland on Tuesday with a hamstring injury.
The West Ham United defender was forced to pull out in the warm-up before his country's 3-0 win over Latvia on Friday evening.
Although a subsequent scan has revealed no serious damage to the muscle, the right-back has been sent back to his club side for treatment.
According to Eurosport, a replacement will not be called up at this late stage of proceedings.
