Republic of Ireland manager Martin O'Neill has accused England boss Roy Hodgson of putting "pressure" on Aston Villa youngster Jack Grealish to decide his international future.
The 19-year-old is eligible to play for both England and Ireland, but so far the teenager has been undecided on which route to take.
At the weekend, Hodgson publicly called for Grealish, who has played Under-17, U18 and U21 matches for Ireland, to make a choice.
According to The Guardian, when O'Neill was asked to comment on Hodgson's remarks about Grealish, the ex-Villa boss said: "That's encouraging, that's encouraging. Roy's not going to hang around. Well done Roy, putting the pressure on."
Reports have claimed that Grealish will make a final decision by the end of the month ahead of the Euro 2016 qualifiers in October.
