New Republic of Ireland manager Martin O'Neill has claimed that the squad is "raring to go" ahead of the upcoming friendly against Latvia.
O'Neill and assistant manager Roy Keane held their first training session on Tuesday after the pair officially took charge last week.
"The players are raring to go; all eyes on Latvia," Sky Sports News quotes the 61-year-old as saying.
"We did exactly what we intended to do [this morning]. Roy wanted to work with the players - so did I - and we had a little formula worked out."
Ireland welcome Latvia to Dublin on Friday before travelling to Poznan to face Poland next Tuesday.
