Fleetwood Town netted two own goals on Saturday but they were still able to record a 4-2 win at League Two promotion rivals Burton Albion.
The match at the Pirelli Stadium was delayed by an hour in order to allow ground staff to remove standing water from the pitch following a pre-match downpour.
Once play got underway, Fleetwood settled quicker and took the lead on 19 minutes thanks to David Ball's 10th goal of the season.
That lead was cancelled out five minutes after half time when Chris Palmer's cross found the net via a deflection off defender Mark Roberts.
Burton were only level for two minutes before Nathan Pond's 50th goal for the Cod Army turned the game in the visitors' favour once more.
Another own goal then levelled the contest just after the hour mark. This time it was Alex Marrow who put through his own net following a good cross from Jimmy Phillips.
Fleetwood took the lead for a third time 12 minutes from the end when Jon Parkin volleyed home from close range.
Victory was finally secured in stoppage time as Junior Brown finished clinically after good work from fellow substitute Mikael Mandron.
The win moves Fleetwood, who have now won four straight games, up to third in the league table, while Burton fall the fifth.
