Jordan Rhodes was on the scoresheet as Scotland Under-21s produced a shock result by beating Netherlands' young crop 2-1 in Nijmegen last night.
The Huddersfield striker netted after just two minutes as the Scots moved into second place in group 10, just a point behind the Dutch who were unbeaten in qualification prior to the match.
Rhodes, rumoured to be a transfer target for Fulham, headed in after good work from James Forrest, another player on the radar of several Premier League clubs.
Goalkeeper Mark Ridgers then fumbled an Adam Maher free kick over his line as the home side levelled 10 minutes later.
Hibernian midfielder David Wotherspoon then restored Scotland's lead in the second-half by firing home from 16 yards as Billy Stark's side claimed a shock victory.
