Rochdale boss Keith Hill has insisted that the club will not be forced into selling Bobby Grant for less than his valuation this summer.
Hill has also confirmed that Blackpool have made a bid for the 23-year-old striker, but admitted that it was short of his market value.
"Blackpool have been in contact. Blackpool have tabled a bid, it hasn't been accepted by the club," Hill told the club's official website.
"They have to come back with slightly more money on a down payment."
Grant, who has also been linked with a number of Football League clubs, has just one year remaining on his current contract.
