Roma are reportedly considering a January move for Stoke City attacker Xherdan Shaqiri.
The 24-year-old spent the second half of the 2014-15 campaign with Italian side Inter Milan, whom he joined from Bayern Munich, before moving to Stoke before the start of the 2015-16 season.
The Swiss international has largely struggled to make his mark in the Premier League, however, only managing four goals in 30 league appearances for the Potters.
According to Calciomercato, Roma will be in the market for a new attacker at the start of 2017 and have identified Shaqiri as the player to boost their forward line for the second half of the campaign.
Shaqiri started his professional career with Swiss side Basel.
