Roma have reportedly agreed a deal with Fluminense for the transfer of Brazilian teenager Gerson.
The 18-year-old has previously been linked with a move to Barcelona, following a number of impressive displays for his club.
However, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma have had an offer of €18m (£12.7m) accepted for the midfielder, although it is believed that he will join them next year due to Serie A not allowing clubs to have more than two players without Italian passports.
Gerson has represented Brazil at Under-20 level.
