Roma are reportedly keen on a summer move for Southampton defender Dejan Lovren.
The Italian club could be forced to look for a new centre-back in the coming months if Mehdi Benatia leaves the Stadio Olimpico.
The Moroccan international has recently been linked with a switch to Manchester City.
Lovren is now among a handful of players who Roma are thought to be monitoring in case Benatia departs, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
Tottenham Hotspur's Jan Vertonghen is also understood to be on a list of transfer targets for the Giallorossi.
