Ross County have ended their Scottish Premiership campaign in seventh place after a hard-fought victory at Partick Thistle.
The side from Dingwall took the lead midway through the opening period when Rocco Quinn's ball into the box found Jordan Slew and his left-footed shot from the centre of the box beat Scott Fox.
Partick looked for an immediate response, with James Craigen and Gabriel Piccolo going close to an equaliser for the Jags before the interval.
However, the hosts fell further behind moments after the break when Yoann Arquin headed home Graham Carey's cross.
Thistle's hopes of a comeback were boosted when Lyle Taylor pulled a goal back on 51 minutes.
Kallum Higginbotham and Steven Lawless both had efforts saved by Mark Brown as the home side doggedly looked for a second to level the game.
They were rewarded when Taylor's neat work in the attacking third played in George Moncur and the substitute swept the ball past Brown to the delight of the Firhill faithful.
However, Thistle's hopes of a seventh-placed finish were extinguished when Melvin de Leeuw netted with 13 minutes remaining to give County victory.
