Rotherham United manager Steve Evans has revealed his delight at the club's pre-season performance so far.
The League Two outfit beat League One side Oldham Athletic 3-1 in a friendly yesterday, and Evans was keen to express his delight at the squad he is working with.
"This is a new squad that has been put together from old and new players but I can tell already it will prove to be a successful team, we are looking good," Evans told the club's official website.
"In the main all the ingredients are there, perhaps [we need] a couple of additions but I am delighted with what we have.
"The lads have worked as hard as any team I have ever managed in the first couple of weeks."
Rotherham kick off the league season at home to Burton Albion on August 18.
