Sports Mole previews Tuesday's Championship clash between Rotherham United and Blackburn Rovers at the New York Stadium.

Out-of-form Rotherham United will hope to record their first Championship win in more than a month when they welcome Blackburn Rovers to the New York Stadium on Tuesday.

The South Yorkshire side have not won in the league since beating Millwall on August 23, with defeats to Brentford, Bolton Wanderers and Ipswich Town leaving them in 19th spot in the table on eight points, just three points outside of the relegation zone.

They will enter this match off the back of a 2-0 defeat to Ipswich Town at the weekend, while they have won just one of their four home league games this season, scoring just twice in the process.

Blackburn, however, have won two of their last four in the league to move into 10th position in the table. They are now just two points outside of the playoff positions following a 2-2 draw with Watford at Ewood Park on Saturday.

Blackburn's away form this season has been mixed with two wins and two defeats, but those losses came against Norwich City and Wolverhampton Wanderers – two teams that are expected to challenge for automatic promotion this season.

Rotherham boss Steve Evans could look to freshen his attack on Tuesday, with Luciano Becchio and Matt Derbyshire two attacking options. Alex Revell should start, but Ryan Hall could lose his place in the XI to occupy another midfielder.

Blackburn, meanwhile, have no fresh injury concerns from the weekend. Rudy Gestede and Jordan Rhodes will continue their partnership in attack, but Ryan Tunnicliffe could come into the midfield following his late equaliser against Watford last time out.
