Rotherham United earned their second victory of pre-season by beating Scottish Championship outfit Greenock Morton 3-0 this afternoon.
Greg Halford opened the scoring for the visitors in the 12th minute when he arrived inside the six-yard box to finish from Matt Derbyshire's cross.
Rotherham continued to dominate and they doubled their lead when Lee Frecklington fired home after connecting with a cross from the right.
Paul Green almost added a third goal moments later, but his powerful volley was kept out by Derek Gaston.
Within a minute of the second half the visitors came close again to further extending their lead when Derbyshire got in behind and saw his shot saved by the keeper.
Grant Ward was next to threaten with a low drive that was held by substitute keeper Grant Adam.
In the final minute, Rotherham did manage to grab a third goal, as Jonson Clarke-Harris beat the offside trap and rounded the keeper, before slotting home to seal a comfortable win for the Millers.
