Rotherham United have broken their transfer record to secure the signing of Peterborough United winger Jon Taylor on a three-year contract.
The 24-year-old had a medical with the Championship side on Wednesday morning before he moved for an undisclosed fee reported to be around £500,000.
Millers manager Alan Stubbs told the club's official website: "The fact that we have broken our club record transfer fee just shows you what we think of Jon and what he can bring to the football club.
"He is a very dynamic footballer who has got an eye for a goal. He is also a creative player and I think that he will be an excellent addition to the squad.
"He fits the profile of the players that we are looking to bring here. His role within the team will be to be dynamic. He is very quick, he looks like he enjoys taking defenders on which is great to see. I think he will be a very exciting player."
Taylor scored 16 goals in 76 games for Posh after signing from Shrewsbury Town for an undisclosed fee in June 2014.
