Alan Dzagoev is the latest player to have been ruled out of Euro 2016 with injury.
In recent weeks the likes of Ilkay Gundogan, Vincent Kompany, Danny Welbeck and Marco Verratti have all suffered complaints that will prevent them from representing their respective countries in France.
Now, it has been confirmed that Russia playmaker Dzagoev will also sit out the tournament.
Scans have shown that the 25-year-old fractured his metatarsal during CSKA Moscow's 1-0 win over Rubin Kazan at the weekend - a game that saw him score the only goal to clinch his side the Russian Premier League title.
Head coach Leonid Slutsky has since selected Krasnodar midfielder Dmitri Torbinski to fill the void.
