Fabio Capello has claimed that referees are always against Russia after his side were denied a penalty in their 1-1 draw with Algeria.
The European side are out of the World Cup after Islam Slimani's equaliser proved enough for the Africans to progress, but Capello feels that the match officials let his players down.
He is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "Look, I'm disappointed. I don't like to speak about referees but every time they're against Russia.
"We should have had a penalty. I don't understand why all the referees are against us."
This is the second successive time that Russia have been knocked out of a major tournament at the group phase after they exited Euro 2012 thanks to a defeat against Greece.
Capello has won only one of his seven World Cup games as a manager.
