Lens boss Antoine Kombouare has insisted that his side's recent 3-3 draw with Saint-Etienne should be considered as "two points dropped".
The Ligue 1 strugglers came back from two goals down to lead 3-2 away at the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard, only for Melvut Erding to grab a last-gasp equaliser for the home team.
"This match was typical of our recent outings. We're capable of pushing all our adversaries around; we scare them," said Kombouare, according to the official Ligue 1 website.
"But it hasn't paid off so far. Christophe [Galtier] will say that it's a point won for his side, while for me it's a case of two points dropped.
"The lads were rewarded for their efforts with three goals, but the big disappointment is to have scored three goals in Saint-Etienne - we were 3-2 up with 13 minutes to go."
Lens currently occupy 19th spot in the league standings and are two points from safety.
