Saint-Etienne have climbed up to fourth in the table in Ligue 1 with a 4-1 victory over Montpellier at home.
Brandao broke the deadlock at Stade Geoffroy-Guichard as early as the 13th minute when he turned in Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's cross from close range.
Aubameyang himself made it 2-0 to the hosts just before the half-hour mark, slotting home Renaud Cohade's cross from the centre of the box.
Saint-Etienne scored their third goal of the evening three minutes into the second half, Yohan Mollo shooting home from a narrow angle on the left.
Montpellier reduced the deficit a minute later through Remy Cabella.
Play was suspended for over half an hour because of snow, and when it resumed the home side scored their fourth and final goal through Mathieu Bodmer, who headed in Cohade's delivery.
