Sassuolo set up a trip to AC Milan in the last 16 of the Coppa Italia after beating Pescara 1-0.

Sassuolo have edged into the last 16 of the Coppa Italia with a 1-0 victory at home to Pescara.

The hosts were the dominant side in the first half as Floro Flores and Davide Biondini both went close to breaking the deadlock.

Their patience was eventually rewarded on 57 minutes when Flores beat the goalkeeper with a powerful drive from 25 yards.

Pescara rallied late on as they tried to take the game to extra time, but they were unable to find an equaliser.

Sassuolo's reward for earning the win is a clash with AC Milan at the San Siro in the next round.
