Sassuolo and Chievo have played out a 1-1 draw in their Serie A clash this afternoon to maintain both club's impressive early season form.
The hosts made a strong start and Gregoire Defrel gave them the lead in the third minute when he slotted home from close range after a strike from Antonio Floro Flores had peen parried by the keeper.
Chievo responded well to that setback and Alberto Paloschi saw a shot saved, before Perparim Hetemaj placed a header inches wide of the post.
The Gialloblu finally made their pressure count by equalising midway through the first half when Paloschi headed in from Simone Pepe's cross.
The referee appeared to disallow the goal at first, as Fabrizio Cacciatore touched the ball into the net at back post from a seemingly offside position, but it had already crossed the line before he made contact.
After the break, Domenico Berardi almost restored the home side's lead, but his close-range effort was kept out by Albano Bizzarri.
The chances dried up for both teams as the half wore on, and they eventually settled for a draw, with Sassuolo holding onto their unbeaten record in this season's top flight.
