Substitute Carlo de Reuver scored a stoppage-time equaliser for SBV Excelsior to steal them a 2-2 draw with FC Utrecht in the Eredivisie this evening.
The visitors to Stadion Woudestein thought that they had won it with Christian Kum's 84th-minute strike, but De Reuver netted soon after his late introduction to prevent Utrecht from climbing to fourth in the table.
Tom van Weert gave Excelsior a 22nd-minute advantage when he finished tidily for his fourth goal of the season.
Utrecht were level prior to the interval when Mark Van der Maarel collected a clever pass from former Liverpool winger Kristoffer Peterson to equalise on 33 minutes.
Rob Alflen's side completed their comeback six minutes from time when Yassine Ayoub's delivery was met by defender Kum, but De Reuver converted a cross from fellow substitute Ninos Gouriye on 91 minutes to rescue the hosts a point.
The result sees Utrecht rise two places to eighth in the table, while Excelsior move up to 13th.
