Borussia Dortmund manager Thomas Tuchel has said that his side must keep their cool if they are to emerge victorious from the first Ruhr derby of the season against Schalke 04 on Sunday.
The 2011-12 Bundesliga champions sit second in the league table before Saturday's fixtures on the back of four successive wins in all competitions, and are six points ahead of their rivals as they welcome them to Signal Iduna Park.
It will be the first Ruhr derby for Tuchel and Breitenreiter, and whereas the Schalke boss hyped up the importance of the occasion, the Dortmund manager knows that not getting carried away with the emotion of the occasion will be vital for his side in front of their own fans.
"We need calm so that we can soak up the special atmosphere tomorrow," Tuchel told reporters. "We expect the atmosphere to be even more tense than usual, and we have to keep our cool. It is important for us not to get carried away.
"We are going to miss Marco Reus [who is sidelined with an adductor injury], but we are ready to play without him."
Victory could move Dortmund eight points clear of third-placed Wolfsburg if Die Wolfe lose at Mainz 05 on Saturday.
