Gordon Strachan has confirmed that Scott Brown will captain the Scottish national team against Estonia tomorrow evening.
A number of players had been linked with the responsibility, including Gary Caldwell and Kenny Miller.
However, Strachan has revealed that a number of factors have resulted in him handing the role to Celtic midfielder Brown.
"He knows what it is like to be a captain and a captain with pressure," Strachan told reporters. "That made him a favourite. He is in fine form as well. If you put that together, that has made him the captain for tomorrow."
The match will be Strachan's first in charge of his country.
