Gordon Strachan has emerged as the leading contender to be named as the new Scotland manager.
Craig Levein's future in charge of the team is currently under threat after Tuesday's defeat to Belgium left them with just two points from their opening four games of World Cup qualifying.
Former Celtic, Middlesbrough and Coventry City boss Strachan is now being seriously considered as Levein's successor, according to The Telegraph.
Alex McLeish, who previously managed the squad for 10 months in 2007, has also been linked with the position.
